Woodard & Curran has an opportunity for an Environmental Chemist capable of performing environmental verification and validation of inorganic and organic chemical analytical data. This role will conduct data validation and associated activities in support of an environmental remediation program for a group of clients. The position will employ multiple chemical techniques and validation/verification methodologies on environmental samples related to site characterization, site remediation, environmental permits, effluent waters, waste disposal, and general project support. The individual will utilize data management systems to manage samples/data from beginning to end and will write quality assurance/quality control reports. Who are we looking for:The selected candidate will report directly to Project Managers in our National Environmental Remediation Practice and work directly with a diverse and talented group of engineers and scientists at the firm. The ideal candidate is a mid-level chemist with strong technical experience delivering high-quality remediation and consulting services to projects located across the firm’s geography and core markets. The successful candidate will be an energetic, motivated, growth-oriented professional with an ability to work independently as well as lead multi-disciplined project teams.
Candidate should be a self-starter and possess strong analytical, field, and writing skills to support a wide range of science and engineering projects. Candidates must also have excellent communication skills combined with leadership ability, a positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and within teams.
Offering Flexible Virtual or Hybrid Work Schedule Travel:This position may require occasional travel to support project needs across our nationwide office network, including Montana, California, New York/New Jersey, and New England locations. Travel may involve field support, laboratory audits, project meetings, or training sessions. While most work can often be completed remotely or from a local office, candidates should be open to short-term travel as needed to support project timelines and client requirements.

- An Environmental Chemist will assist with environmental/engineering tasks for site investigation and remediation projects.
