Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Location: Remote but with 2-4 days per month in the Richardson, TX office
About the Role:
Everfox is seeking an energetic, hardworking and knowledgeable Full Stack Developer to join our remote team where we build best-in-class cybersecurity products. Although remote, a preferred candidate should be near enough to Richardson, TX for occasional in-office activities. As a member of our growing team, you will help design and develop robust technology solutions that provide our customers with an outstanding experience and are critical to our company’s success. If you have an interest in cybersecurity, Linux, and application development, then this is the role for you. You will be working in an Agile environment, and contributing with your ideas, code, testing, and planning skills.
Essential Activities Include:
Engineer software application solutions for interconnected systems that are technically sound, maintainable and provide an exceptional and delightful user experience
Work collaboratively with other software engineers, product managers, project managers and quality assurance engineers to deliver reliable, high value solutions
Research, design, develop, document, analyze, test, debug and integrate capabilities into new and existing applications
Verify product features are thoroughly implemented, ensuring all requirements are met, using robust technical solutions and only the highest quality coding standards
Demonstrate desire to learn new skills and tools as needed
Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements
Provide donuts for the team if you break the nightly build
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a security clearance in the future, if needed
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, related technical discipline or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience developing software for Linux systems
