- Days- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends required.
Role Overview As a Retail Food Service Worker, you’ll help create a positive dining experience for patients, families, and staff. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, plating, and serving meals.
- Transporting food and supplies promptly and safely.
- Providing courteous, accurate service and resolving customer concerns.
- Maintaining sanitation and infection control standards to ensure food safety.
- Operating food service and computer equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
- Knowledge: Basic food safety, sanitation, and infection control. Serve Safe training may be required.
- Certifications: ISDOH Food Handler certification (Title 410 IAC 7-22) may be required at some locations.
- Skills: Basic computer skills; familiarity with CBORD system preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling.
