<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled <strong>Senior Project Manager </strong>to join our team at K&A Power Group in <strong>Berlin, Connecticut.</strong> In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. <p><strong>Role Expectations: </strong></p>

<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">The Project Manager leads the development of transmission asset capital projects with a strong focus on early scoping, asset-condition identification, capital-planning alignment, and proactively advancing projects to construction-ready status. The role is a key contributor to the Shovel-Ready Initiative, supporting identification and prioritization of transmission asset-condition projects and advancing their design and development to maintain a steady shelf of construction-ready work that mitigates future financial gaps in the capital plan</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">Lead early project scoping, feasibility reviews, and constructability assessments</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">Collaborate with Engineering and Asset Strategy to identify transmission asset-condition</span></span> <span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">needs</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">Advance projects through design, permitting, environmental review, and development</span></span> <span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">milestones</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">Develop and maintain schedules focused on construction-readiness milestones</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">Track scope, cost, schedule, and risk during the project-development phase</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">Support bid-package development and procurement preparation</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">Coordinate construction-readiness requirements including access, outages, and material</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" arial,="" helvetica,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">planning</span></span></li>

<p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Engineering Management, or Construction Management discipline preferred</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>10-15 years’ experience including 3 or more years managing major engineering/ procurement/ construction activities</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Strong Safety-First Focus</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Excellent leadership and organizational skills</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Ability to work effectively with competing priorities and stressful situations</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)</span></span></li>
<li><span ":="" 10.0pt"=""><span>Must be able to travel to office for meetings</span></span></li>
