Position Summary:

  • The Senior Manager, Business Consultant reports directly to the Executive Director, Strategic Planning of the Regional Large Group Center of Excellence (COE).

  • Assists with planning and execution of various strategic, operational, project management, and reporting needs with and for internal constituents.

  • Drives solutions and strategic initiatives that enable the Large Group sales and service teams to be more competitive in the marketplace.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and business owners to optimize the achievement of strategic business objectives including profitable growth and improved organizational effectiveness.

  • Shares joint accountability for initiative’s return on investment.

  • Communicates compelling and concise results to empower client groups in decision making process regarding project opportunities.

  • Supports engagements using a disciplined repeatable methodology.

  • Designs and develops interventions and facilitates work sessions.

  • Develops and delivers all required analysis, reporting, and presentation materials.

  • Gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes business intelligence to drive achievement of strategic business objectives.

  • Develop communications for leaders and drive end-to-end management processes.

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement within assigned initiatives.

  • Leverages internal and external networking to drive optimal initiative results and knowledge/best practice transfer.

  • Assists with planning internal and external conferences and events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience with one or more of the following methodologies: management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, financial strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning, and/or risk management consulting.

  • Healthcare industry experience.

  • Strategic business acumen and proven organizational and execution skills.

  • Demonstrated collaborative working style, with ability to influence diverse teams and build strong relationships.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations for all levels of management combined with strong collaboration / influencing abilities.

  • Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated experience building presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated leadership with relevant initiatives: Business process, enterprise business project management/consulting, financial strategic planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, risk management.

  • Demonstrated superior business process, project management and organizational redesign experience.

  • Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations.

  • Self-starter and excellent at turning strategy into actionable, measurable plans.

  • Ability to recognize, evaluate and solve complex problems.

  • Skilled at managing complexity across geographies, functions, teams, and people.

  • Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in high-growth, fast-changing environments.

  • Ability to set and maintain high standards of performance, holding people accountable for achieving deliverables.

  • Minimal travel is needed for team meetings, sales conferences, etc.


Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $199,144.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to
