Summary
The Riverside University Health System's, (RUHS), Medical Center is currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse for the Nurse Support Team - BERT Division. This is a per diem position. A Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing specialized care for individuals experiencing behavioral or mental health crises.
Required Certifications:
- A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- CPI within 6 months of hire
- 5150 Certification within 6 months of hire
Work Schedule: 3/12, Night Shift, (6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)
8 shifts required in a 6-week period based on the department needs, two of those shifts have to be on the weekend.
Additional Pertinent Information:
- Evening Shift (6:00pm to 11:00pm): $2.50 per hour
- Night Shift (11:00pm to 7:30am): $5.00 per hour
- $4.00/hour Critical Care Pay Differential
- $4.00/hour Specialty Team Differential
*Specialty Care/Critical Care differentials will be applied following completion of required specialty training, attainment of all necessary certifications, and departmental determination that the employee is authorized to work independently.
Registered Nurse II MC/CHC Per Diem: $70.8141 per hour
Registered Nurse III MC/CHC Per Diem: $80.2448 per hour

• Assess, plan, organize, and provide nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with physician instructions; make preliminary observations of patients and prepare patients for medical treatment.
