Associate Domestic Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Case Analyst (Industrial Base Program)

Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.</p></div><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p>ANSER is seeking an Associate Domestic Mergers &amp; Acquisitions (M&amp;A) Case Analyst to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP), Global Investment and Economic Security Directorate (GIES). You will assist with monitoring, researching, and analyzing domestic mergers and acquisitions involving major U.S. defense suppliers to assess potential impacts to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).</p> <p><strong>Day to Day Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with conducting due diligence, preparing analytic products and briefings, identifying risks and benefits to the Department of Defense (DoD), and supporting interagency coordination related to M&amp;A reviews.</li> <li>Support the review and assessment of domestic M&amp;A transactions subject to the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and DoD Directive 5000.62, including assisting with processing non-HSR transactions through the DoD M&amp;A due diligence process.</li> <li data-start="1349" data-end="1621">Review and summarize transaction documentation including premerger filings, corporate ownership structures, financial statements, purchase agreements, product and competition data, market share information, technology data, and U.S. Government contracting information.</li> <li data-start="1623" data-end="1861">Conduct research and fact-finding activities to support due diligence assessments related to national security implications, competition impacts, supply chain access risks, and effects on existing or future DoD programs and contracts.</li> <li data-start="1863" data-end="2039">Assist in preparing case summaries, risk assessments, analytic reports, and briefings describing methodologies, datasets, analysis, findings, and potential recommendations.</li> <li data-start="2041" data-end="2224">Support coordination with DoD stakeholders to collect and consolidate comments, gather relevant information, and assist in developing DoD perspectives on pending M&amp;A transactions.</li> <li data-start="2226" data-end="2430">Assist with collaboration and information exchanges
