Reporting to the Production Manager, The Production Supervisor role involves being responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Supervise production processes and ensure line success in a technical environment.
- Evaluate plant performance and recommend operational changes for efficiency and quality.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
- Collect data, establish facts, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, and draw valid conclusions.
- Lead a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide resolution guidance.
- Coach operators to enhance performance and operational understanding.
- Gather and assess improvement ideas, collaborating with engineers on project proposals.
- Offer technical and operational support to project teams.
- Serve as the main liaison between operations and maintenance teams.
- Train and mentor junior operators.
- Prioritize production schedules based on product needs and resource availability.
- Participate in process development and cost improvement initiatives.
- Assist in budget planning and manage departmental expenses.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment through education and direction on policies and procedures.
Here is some of what you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of experience Supervisory in Manufacturing Facility
- Automation experience Preferred
- Experience in leading meetings of staff
- Experience Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with ERP Systems (Kronos preferred)
