Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Cooks and Food Service Workers for long-term care nursing facility at Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 105 W. Sheedy Road in Vestal, NY. Apply today. Walk-ins welcome, we will be conducting interviews on Friday 4/3 and 4/10 from 8am to 1pm and Wednesday 4/8 from 8am to 2pm and again from 4pm to 6pm. On the spot interviews will only be conducted on the specified dates and times but applications are always welcome.
Cooks and Food Service Workers Key Duties
As the Cook!- Position starts at $17.50 per hour
- Prepares food according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlines standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items for quality control.
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintain standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food- handling procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
As the Dietary Aide!
- Position starts at $16.00 per hour
- Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks.
- Delivering trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
- Assembling resident meal trays. Working in the dish room and pot sink
- Sweeping and mopping. Disposal of trash and recyclables
- Follow proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Cooks and Food Service Workers Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1-year long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experienced preferred.
