Job Summary The Admissions Office Coordinator is the first contact point of many prospective students and applicants. They are responsible for informing incoming callers regarding admissions policies and referring them to Admissions Counselors for information on programs and degree selection. They are also responsible for greeting guests and campus visitors and managing all incoming postal mail and email. Duties/Responsibilities-
Manage incoming phone and email communication to Admissions
- Handle and direct inquiries regarding application information
- Process requests for brochures, etc.
- Manage voicemail messages
- Maintain the Admission email inbox

Coordinate campus visits of prospective students
- Manage Calendly for scheduled appointments
- Book and coordinate Guest Room reservations for prospective students
- Coordinate with professors for classroom visits

Manage mail
- Open all incoming mail and direct to appropriate person or department
- Enter transcripts, references, and other applicant information into Slate
- Generate letters for inquiries from prisoners

Maintain Correspondence and Materials
- Prepare information packets for visitors and open house events
- Ensure inventory levels of brochures, drinks, etc. are adequate

Coordinate Office Schedule
- Maintain office schedules for staff
- Coordinate meetings for the Admissions office
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task by alternating between people-oriented and task-oriented duties on a constant basis.
- Communicates in a professional and warm manner, both on the phone and in person.
- Is a self-starter who is able to work independently on daily tasks.
- Is also a team-player who is able to work with others on shared duties throughout the week and during special events.
- Computer literate.
- Organization skills with an ability to prioritize various tasks.
- Character, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Two-year commitment.
- Experience at DTS as a student or as the spouse of a student.
- Previous office experience or receptionist duties.
- Good with a variety of people, including international prospective students.
