Location - This position requires on-site support within an Arcfield Chantilly, VA facility.

Arcfield's intern program is designed to provide college students the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on work experience in a professional environment. Arcfield’s summer internship program places an emphasis on developing the next generation’s workforce. At the end of the program each intern will give a brief presentation summarizing their accomplishments and key takeaways achieved. Interns typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Under direct supervision, you will perform various hands-on tasks and assignments for the organization's professional staff.

Position Responsibilities:

• Arcfield Security Specialist Student Interns gain insight and develop experience in several security disciplines areas that exist in the scope of our nation’s National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Specifically in areas such as Personnel Security, Physical Security, Counterintelligence and in national security related investigations.  While supporting the company’s Enterprise Security Program, the student will be given a project that focuses on their development in understanding and supporting the NISP, and the requirements necessary for supporting classified national security missions.

You must be available to work the duration of the ten weeks and commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week. This program is geared towards technical and non-technical college students, actively enrolled, who will be rising into their senior or junior year. Juniors may be considered if they have declared their major and have qualified coursework.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be actively pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited university.
• High School level plus some advanced training.
• Available to work the duration of the ten weeks and commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Preferred:

• A rising junior or senior
• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
