Data Analysts must work with cross functional teams to develop a collection method for pertinent data. Once data is being collected, the Analyst must vet the data to ensure it’s accuracy and consistency. The Analyst is expected to review the data, and present it in a form that allows for summarized review for the purpose of making data driven business decisions. The Analyst needs to be able to map the source of the data and develop a plan ton monitor data to ensure integrity long term where applicable
The Data Analyst position reports to Quality but will often be engaged with other departments and cross functional teams as data is needed for continuous improvement and operation excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze data and translate it into meaningful information
Vet data and extrapolate data pattens and trends
Sanitize data to ensure to removal of outliers or erroneous data
Monitor and maintain data integrity
Validate data collection processes.
Develop rules and methodologies for effective data management
Present concise consistent data and actionable conclusions in easily understood charts, graphs, or spreadsheets.
Answer questions concerning results
Document existing data development processes
Develop a global data management and analysis plan to ensure data collection and reporting is standardized and consistent across sited allowing management to strategically drive issues to closure and promote continuous improvement.
Develop, articulate, and implement new ideas and systems that will streamline and simplify data collection and dissemination of information.
What You Need:
4+ years in manufacturing
2+ years of Lean Manufacturing and/or 6 Sigma experience
Ability to lead a cross functional team through Lean projects
Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Projects
BS in science field with training in statistical analysis and data mining
Experience in sorting and analyzing field data
String analytical skills
Strong skills in the use of MS Excel, Pivot tables, and other data analysis software
Will need to learn to use Power Bi
Ability to process information logically
String oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate data limitations and deadlines, as will as present findings to management and colleagues
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, fluid, and technical organization
Ability to balance competing priorities and concurrent projects
Will need to learn basic functions, including presentation, through Teams Software.
Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $59,724.00 - $76,259.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package
