CVS Media Exchange [CMX] is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full-funnel ad solutions leverage CVS’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with CVS consumers, and convert CVS consumers to shoppers. 


As the Senior Analyst of Business Intelligence – CVS Media Exchange (CMX), you’ll be part of a fast-growing retail media arm for the 4th largest company in the US. This role will report to the Director of Business Intelligence as a pivotal role for driving data-driven decision-making process with cross functional partners such as Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data Engineering, and Data Science. This position requires an individual contributor with attention to detail and likes digging into data sets to find answers to open-ended questions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Extraction: Identify and extract data from various sources and aggregate into a cohesive report.

  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Develop intuitive and visually compelling dashboards and reports that effectively communicate actionable insights to stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and clarity in data presentation, enabling informed decision making at various organization levels.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize data collection, storage, and analysis process. Provide input and expertise on data-related projects and initiatives.

  • Data Quality Assurance and Integrity: Implements rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data used for insights and reporting. Ability to identify potential challenges and suggest actions to mitigate them.

The candidate must be commutable to one of our corporate offices and be willing to work a hybrid schedule. Hybrid model with 3 onsite days/week at one of these locations:

Wellesley, MA

Woonsocket, RI

New York Soho area, NY

Chicago, IL

Blue Bell, PA

Required Qualifications

  • 1 + years experience in SQL with Big Query or similar platforms. 

  • 1 + years experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms. 

  • 1 + years experience in conducting data analysis. 

  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding and experience working with digital media tech stack.

  • Nice to have experience with DMPs/DSPs/SSPs/Google Cloud Platform/Adobe Marketing Cloud.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across functions. 


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or HS Diploma and 4 years of experience required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,900.00 - $117,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
