Due to Federal contract requirements, US citizenship is required for this position.
The day-to-day:
As a Technical Writer you will support the Customized Analytic team, providing documentation and training support for their analytics that have been developed in Jupyter Notebook.  The candidate will develop the documentation, working aids, best practices documentation; and take and publish meeting notes.  They will also be responsible for publishing and updating the materials and storing them in the official government repositories for analytic documentation.  They will also support the team with developing communications between the team and the analytic community.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least five (5) years of experience in document management and technical editing for a program or project of similar complexity. ​
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for analytic suites
  • Assist in the development of training materials for those analytics base on SME input.
  • Maintain documentation and training libraries.
  • Publish meeting minutes and metrics.
  • Assist in the development of communications to the at large analytic community.
  • Maintain documentation and training libraries

Preferred Qualifications (desired not required):

  • Strong writing skills is a must.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint primarily).
  • Confluence and SharePoint familiarity.
  • Knowledge of SIGINT processing.
  • Ability to work with varying levels of personnel throughout the organization.
  • Ability to create/maintain Confluence Wiki Page(s).
  • Ability to create/maintain Knowledge Library​.
