Corporate Strategy Director

With Clarify, healthcare organizations benefit from big data efficiencies and self-service, on-demand enterprise insights that light the path to higher-value care. The Corporate Strategy Director will report to the VP of Corporate Strategy, and work closely with the Corporate and Operational Leadership Teams to inform and guide strategic decision-making in support of organic and inorganic organizational growth. This role will deliver data-driven insights and recommendations by building compelling models and communications based on competitive intelligence, market research, and financial data. This role will interface with customers, advisors, and investors, as appropriate, and will collaborate internally with other strategy, operations, and finance roles. The Director of Corporate Strategy will be responsible for leading corporate development activities, such as assessing and managing strategic partnerships and maintaining intelligence related to potential acquisition targets to help Clarify maximize and realize its full potential. In the event of an acquisition event, this role will support post-merger integration work and will ensure that the PMO office successfully manages key initiatives to completion.

The Corporate Strategy Director will be responsible for a range of responsibilities, including (but not limited to):

• Assessing market opportunities, conducting market sizing analyses, and evaluating potential growth areas for our products and services
• Identifying and supporting due diligence on potential partnership and M&A targets
• Supporting post-merger integration efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and successful alignment of acquired businesses with our organization
• Conducting comprehensive competitive intelligence research, analyzing industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks
• Collecting and organizing institutional knowledge from internal and external SMEs
• Building data-driven analyses and models to support recommendations, decision-making, and the development of business/investment cases
• Developing and presenting compelling communications for internal and external audiences
• Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of strategic initiatives, tracking performance against goals and objectives
• Supporting broader product and go-to-market strategy initiatives in partnership with Clarify’s Product Managers and GMs
• Fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborating across functions to ensure alignment and execution

• Passion about making a difference in healthcare, and in-depth knowledge of the Payer and Provider industries
• Proven project management skills and a demonstrated track record of facility with market research, developing business cases, building quantitative models, and creating compelling communications
• Outstanding individual and team performer with excellent track record of driving success through collaboration
• 3-5+ years of professional experience (e.g., relevant experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, corporate strategy dept, investment bank)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written; ability to collaborate with senior executives and interact with team members all levels
• Ability to build strong relationships with team members across functions and key external stakeholders (advisors, investors, etc.)
• Growth mindset and impact-driven orientation
• Educational background in healthcare (e.g., MD, PhD, MPH) or business (i.e. MBA) a plus
• Willingness to contribute to building an energetic and exciting organization
