About the role

Job Description

This ESH Construction Technician will be part of the QEHS Team. QEHS is committed to ensure Safe and Premium Quality products, and to drive World Class Safety and Culture in our workplace.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide EHS related advice and support to reduce risks for the organization. Promote positive behaviors and behaviors to establish healthy work styles through campaigns and communication of health-related issues.

Are you up for the challenge?

Must have:

  • 3-7 years EHS experience
  • 3 years in a construction environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations covering Environmental, Health, and Safety
  • High School Diploma

Nice to have:

  • OSHA 30 for Construction and OSHA 500 Certification.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to work in outdoor construction environment, bend, kneel, lift, climb ladders, walk/stand for long periods in hot and cold environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EHS issues and Construction processes. 
  • Office skills (Power point, Excel, Word, outlook etc.)
  • Training in First-Aid/CPR or higher certification desirable
  • Problem Solving • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adjust priorities in a large construction environment
  • Ability to develop and present safety related training as needed
