As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer , you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining Akamai's Cyber Security SaaS cloud platform
• Designing and implementing cloud strategies and policies that meet the organization's needs
• Implementing and maintaining complex cloud-based architectures and solutions
• Enforcing quality processes, performing technical root cause analysis, and supporting developer autonomy
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SRE and cloud strategies
• Participating in day-to-day troubleshooting, code reviews, and system maintenance to ensure operational excellence
• Helping maintain and improve SLA targets, ensuring robust system uptime and performance

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 4+ years of experience in a senior SRE or similar technical role
• Have experience with modern container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes)
• Have experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Linode, Azure, or AWS
• Have experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux systems
• Have knowledge of software architecture, micro-services, and performance considerations
