Sr. Project Engineer - Solid Waste

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm of professional engineers, architects, environmental  scientists, planners, and landscape architects, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sr. Project Engineer for a full-time Solid Waste position in Annapolis, MD. 

Duties primarily include engineering related to general civil and environmental engineering, as well as solid waste management facilities and systems.

Technical duties include:

• Data collection & analysis, design calculations, estimates, production of specifications and design drawings, and onsite verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications. 
• Preparation of engineering design reports, feasibility studies, environmental studies and solid waste management plans.
• Specific assignments may include developing site layout and grading plans, stormwater conveyance and storage facilities, erosion control design, site utility design, on-site roadways, and ancillary buildings and structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the consulting industry a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in MD or the ability to obtain reciprocity is desired.
• Experience with the design and layout of site plans, grading plans, pipelines, storm water systems and other related civil/site work is a plus.
• Construction observation and contract administration experience and a willingness to work on seasonal field assignments is a plus.  

Estimated Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000/year.

Actual  compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical  location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and  other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
