Porter - John Deere Classic (Temporary)

TPC Deere Run is a par-71, 7,256-yard championship golf course open to the public located in the Quad Cities region of Silvis, Illinois and just over a two-hour drive from Chicago. Since 2000, TPC Deere Run has been the home of the PGA TOUR’s annual John Deere Classic. TPC Deere Run’s championship course was featured as one of America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses by Golf Digest, as well as ranked fifth in the state of Illinois by GolfWeek Magazine.

The porter is responsible for maintaining the restroom area of the clubhouse and/or golf course. Porter will work closely with Club House Maintenance to provide well maintained, sanitary restroom areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent education

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Clean restrooms and maintain sanitary conditions
• Replenish and maintain bathroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
• Empty wastebaskets, and transport trash and waste to disposal area
• Report broken items to management
• Other miscellaneous job duties as assigned
• Special projects or other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; kneel; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
