Job Description

This is a Hybrid work environment with 3 days in office.

We are seeking a visionary and experienced IT Director of Cloud Engineering to lead our organization's cloud strategy and operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cloud roadmap, overseeing the migration and management of our IT infrastructure to the cloud, and ensuring the security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic cloud roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of cloud service providers (CSPs) and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Oversee the migration of on-premises IT infrastructure and applications to the cloud.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.
• Lead a team of cloud engineers and architects.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the cloud environment.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for cloud operations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure cloud solutions meet those needs.
• Stay up to date on the latest cloud trends and technologies.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cloud concepts and best practices.

• PaaS: Containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), Low-code/No-code Development Platforms, Cloud IDEs, DevOps Tools
• SaaS: Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Marketing Automation, Human Capital Management (HCM), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• DaaS: Managed Database Services, SQL Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), Database in Memory (IMDB)
• Serverless Computing: AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions, CloudEvents, FaaS (Function as a Service)
• Cloud Storage: Object Storage, Block Storage, File Storage, Data Lakes, Archival Storage
• Cloud Networking: Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Software Defined Networking (SDN), Cloud VPNs, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
• API Management: API Gateway, API Throttling, API Versioning, API Analytics, API Security
• IAM: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Least Privilege Access, User Activity Monitoring
• Cloud Security: Data Encryption at rest and in transit, Threat Detection and Prevention, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Vulnerability Scanning and Patching, Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (15+ years) in IT infrastructure and o
