<p><span><strong><u>About the Role:</u></strong></span></p>
<p><span>As a Strategic Account Manager within the Healthcare Solutions & Strategy (HS&S) team, you will lead strategic engagements with key Regional public healthcare institutions, governmental bodies, in the region and payer organizations. You will be responsible for developing long-term, high-impact partnerships with strategic public sector customers, ensuring alignment between their evolving healthcare needs and Boston Scientific’s portfolio of innovative products, services, and solutions. </span></p>

<p><span>You will play a pivotal role in navigating complex Regional public procurement processes, tender strategies, and supporting access initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and local authorities. This client-facing role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, experience in regional tenders, and a proven track record in driving value-based healthcare initiatives within large accounts and Regions. </span></p>

<p><span>The Strategic Account Manager will cooperate with the public affairs department to ensure resources and activities are aligned to the strategic priorities in the region. </span></p>

<p><span><strong><u>In this role, you will be responsible to:</u></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Lead the strategic account planning and execution process for major Regional public sector customers and tender-based markets. </span></li>
<li><span>Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across clinical, administrative, and governmental entities. </span></li>
<li><span>Drive cross-functional collaboration across divisions to deliver tailored, value-driven healthcare solutions. </span></li>
<li><span>Act as a subject matter expert in Regional public tenders, </span></li>
<li><span>Represent the full Boston Scientific portfolio, ensuring public accounts receive coordinated, best-in-class service and support. </span></li>
<li><span>Monitor relevant healthcare regulations, funding frameworks, and public procurement trends to shape strategy and proactively identify opportunities. </span></li>
<li><span>Support business unit objectives, including revenue growth, margin optimization, and increased access to care through Boston Scientific innovations. </span></li>
</ul>

<p><span><strong><u>What are we looking for in you:</u></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in strategic account management, preferably in medical devices. </span></li>
<li><span>Demonstrated experience with public procurement, tender processes, or government affairs in the healthcare sector. </span></li>
<li><span>Proven ability to navigate and influence complex stakeholder environments, including public health authorities and regulatory bodies. </span></li>
<li><span>Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, results-driven approach to long-term customer engagement. </span></li>
<li><span>A demonstrated track record in people management or matrix collaboration is highly valued, as this role requires effective operational coordination with high-performing professionals across the organization. </span></li>
<li><span>Native Italian, fluency in English – any additional European language will be considered a plus.</span></li>
<li><span>Based preferably in the area of Lombardia.</span></li>
