About the role

Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

In this role you will lead the strategic development and execution of Natcast's multi-project wafer (MPW) aggregation framework, shaping the future of semiconductor manufacturing in the United States.

Every day you will collaborate with industry leaders, foundry partners, and internal teams to optimize resources and create seamless silicon development experiences for NSTC members.

To thrive in this role you must possess deep semiconductor manufacturing expertise, demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills, and have a proven track record of building strategic partnerships in the semiconductor ecosystem.

Position Summary: This pivotal leadership role will drive the development and implementation of Natcast's MPW aggregation framework, directly impacting the accessibility and advancement of semiconductor manufacturing capabilities across the United States. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive MPW aggregation strategies

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with leading foundries

  • Lead contract negotiations for competitive pricing and scheduling

  • Oversee end-to-end silicon development processes

  • Drive operational excellence in silicon aggregation programs

  • Collaborate with design enablement teams to enhance user experience

  • Implement industry best practices for MPW efficiency

  • Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in semiconductor manufacturing or MPW programs

  • Proven track record in foundry partnership development

  • Expert knowledge of wafer cost structures and contract negotiations

  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional technical environments

  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
