Your Responsibilities

 

As a Product Manager, Digital Integration for Construction & Forestry located in either Dubuque IA or Urbandale IA, you will: 

 

  • Engage with customers and third-parties in the Precision Construction space to develop requirements and implementation roadmaps for the optimal digital customer experience to help them be most productive on Earthmoving jobsites.
  • Partner with Product Managers in both C&F and ISG to cultivate and implement a collective vision, leveraging the Developer.Deere.com suite of API's.
  • Define and drive product enhancements to Deere API's, based on the needs of various Digital solutions.  Own the roadmaps for Earthmoving specific API's, such as those compliant with ISO15143-3 (telematics) and -4 (grade control). Define resulting customer experience with each release and ensure that it meets/exceeds customer expectations.

What Skills You Need

 

  • Experience in product design, test, or analysis. Experience delivering medium complexity solutions
  • Hands-on experience in software engineering and/or developing digital solutions
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of off-road machine forms
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work effectively across multiple functional areas
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, and results oriented
  • Demonstrated project leadership and management skills
  • Strong communications skills (written and oral) working with cross-functional teams

 

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • Experience in implementing digital solutions at a Construction contractor or other heavy equipment end user organization.
  • Experience designing, creating, and maintaining robust RESTful API services
  • Knowledge of and experience in leveraging Product Management principles
  • Software engineering, systems engineering, or requirements engineering experience with requirements documentation.
  • Experience with technology solutions utilized in the construction industry, such as grade control and GNSS positioning, telematics, data analytics, operations management software, etc.

 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • University Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
