Join our team as a Junior Full Stack Engineer, where we are embarking on an exciting project to build a user-friendly interface for nurses and medical doctors. This high-visibility application is designed to streamline the review process of documentation from hospitals or providers, enabling efficient decision-making. 

You will have the unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to the development of cutting-edge software solutions while expanding your knowledge and skills in the tech industry. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in both front-end and back-end development of the application. 

  • Collaborate with a team to develop and enhance a UI that supports various models within our Nursing Review Platform (NRP), pharmacy, and Utilization Management (UM) segments. 

  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using front-end technologies such as Angular, React, Vue, or other JS/TS-based UI frameworks, as well as back-end technologies like Spring Boot. 

  • Understand and implement fundamental database operations that support the application infrastructure. 

  • Participate in code reviews and maintain standard coding practices. 

  • Continuously learn and apply new programming skills and technologies to meet the evolving needs of the project.  

  • Expected to handle assignments with increased complexity and scope. 

  • Develop an understanding of systems and technology used within the company. 

  • Develop an understanding of the organizational relationships of the company. 

Qualifications: 

  • The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting, team player, willing to be curious/learn, and take on new challenges. 

  • The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.  

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry is desirable. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment. 

  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. 

  • Eager to learn and adaptable to new challenges. 

  • Demonstrated openness for learning, growth, coaching by peers and more senior level teammates. 

  • Demonstrated ability to do effective problem-solving and troubleshooting. 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.  

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. 

Technology Skills: 

  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies (ex: Angular, React). 

  • Basic knowledge of back-end programming (ex: springboot or .Net) 

  • Familiarity with database fundamentals. 

  • Demonstrated ability/willingness/eagerness to learn new technologies and work on innovative solutions.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$86,600 - $119,200 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
