Requirements
We are seeking a motivated and certified Entry-Level HVAC Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed all required HVAC certifications and are ready to apply their skills in a commercial setting. The technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC/R systems at various commercial job sites. (Must reside in or be willing to travel to the Columbus area daily)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on commercial HVAC/R systems
- Troubleshoot and repair worn or defective components, wiring, and equipment
- Diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Travel to various job sites as required
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
Qualifications:
- Completion of all required HVAC certifications (EPA 608, HVAC/R diploma or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must reside in or be willing to travel to the Columbus, OH area
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
Preferred Skills
- Prior hands-on experience through internships or training programs
- Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems and tools
- Good communication and customer service skills
