About the role

Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Global FP&A leads the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across FFSS and its subsidiaries. This role is responsible for developing consolidated financial reports, monthly and ad hoc analyses, and executive-level presentations. The role includes building and maintaining financial models, delivering insights to drive strategic decision-making, evaluating business initiatives, and overseeing FP&A systems and tools. This position also provides leadership to the FP&A Analyst.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:   

  • Lead and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes across all regions and business units, including designing related templates and models.

  • Assist VP Finance with the preparation of consolidated budgets, forecasts, and multi-year financial projections, including P&L and balance sheet.

  • Develop monthly reporting packages with clear analysis of results, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities, and explaining key variances.

  • Partner with finance and business stakeholders to provide decision support and financial modeling for projects, initiatives, and investments.

  • Provide finance business partner support for sales and service organizations.

  • Contribute to the preparation, review, and delivery of executive reporting packages and presentations.

  • Present financial and operational information and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders as needed.

  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance the planning, forecasting, and reporting process.

  • Serve as the finance lead for corporate planning systems, ensuring proper maintenance, optimization, and upgrades.

  • Support ad hoc requests for information and analysis, including requests from the parent company.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.

  • Experience working in a global corporate environment working with international subsidiaries.

  • High technology manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Proven expertise in financial modeling and analysis.

  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles (GAAP/IFRS knowledge a plus).

Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Prophix and/or Tableau strongly preferred.

  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.

  • Strong business acumen, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $130,000/yr. - $170,000/yr. depending on experience (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
