The Role:
We are seeking a talented Software Product Manager to drive the development of our digital transformation and innovation product roadmap. As a Software Product Manager at Burson, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of AI-driven software products, from conception to development to launch and beyond. You will collaborate with cross-functional / cross-regional teams, including engineering (internal & external 3rd party), analytics, data science, UX, design, and marketing, to create and deliver cutting-edge solutions that address market needs, drive growth, and ensure Burson remains at the forefront of communications. You will report to the Global CTO.

The Work:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for AI software products, considering market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the features, enhancements, and releases for all software products, and prioritize these items based on customer needs and company goals.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define detailed product requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and technical constraints.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, design, and other teams to drive product development, manage project timelines, and resolve any roadblocks. You will need to effectively communicate with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure a common and consistent understanding of a project's purpose and goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities and threats in the AI software landscape.
- User Experience (UX): Champion user-centric design and ensure that AI software products provide a seamless and satisfying user experience.
- Product Testing and Quality Assurance: Define quality standards, testing strategies, and collaborate with QA teams to ensure products meet high-quality standards.
- Product Launch: Coordinate product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies, marketing collateral, and customer communication.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor product performance and gather feedback to make data-driven decisions for improvements and enhancements.
- Documentation: Ensure detailed technical and user facing documentation is created to support all software product launches.
- Marketing: Work with the BCW global marketing team to bring the product to market inclusive of website, media and internal touchpoints.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, including product iteration, updates, and end-of-life decisions.
- Vendor Management: Management of any 3rd party vendors inclusive of vendor selection, contract negotiation (in coordination with Burson CTO, finance and legal), relationship management, cost management, compliance, issue resolution, etc.
- Regulatory and Ethical Considerations: Ensure that the software complies with relevant regulations and adheres to ethical standards, which is crucial for the product's long-term success and reputation.
Experience that contributes to your success:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in software development.
- Strong technical background and understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
- Excellent project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
