The Mission Analysis and Simulations team within the SDA Tranche 3 Tracking program is seeking a systems engineer - early career, to support evaluation of mission performance and compliance to system-level requirements. This role will work with IR payload supplier data to estimate constellation level metrics. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to very early technical program direction for a high-profile national defense effort.
• Run models and simulations to evaluate sensor and system performance
• Develop tools to support system analysis
• Create high quality data products to simulate on-orbit data for ingestion by a ground system
• Build tools to validate simulator output and configure for end users
• Define and optimize processes and tool chains to maximize the effectivity of the analysis team
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, math, chemistry, or similar technical field of study.
- Proficiency in a scripting language – Python, Matlab or similar.
- Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
