As a Maintenance Technician III, you’ll oversee maintenance operations and help guide the upkeep of our facilities, systems, and grounds to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. Your advanced technical skills and leadership will support both daily operations and long-term improvements—creating an environment where care, wellness, and hope can thrive.
This is a great opportunity for someone with extensive maintenance or skilled trade experience who enjoys leading by example, managing complex projects, and mentoring others while ensuring that facilities remain safe, compliant, and mission-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform maintenance and repair work requiring advanced technical skills.
- Conduct regular training sessions for in-house maintenance staff to support skill development and safety compliance.
- Participate in departmental and committee meetings, contributing to planning and operational improvement.
- Lead or assist with in-house construction and renovation projects.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the computerized work order management system.
- Maintain and inventory tools, equipment, and materials to ensure operational readiness.
- Work independently and collaboratively to manage multiple projects across sites while ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High School Diploma or HISET/GED preferred- At least five (5) years of experience in an institutional or healthcare maintenance position preferred
- Advanced skill level in at least two (2) trades preferred
- Working knowledge of building blueprints preferred
- Working knowledge of NFPA National Building Codes, National Fire Codes, and general Building Codes preferred
- Familiarity with JCAHO, Medicare/Medicaid, and OSHA safety and equipment requirements preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate across disciplines, and collaborate with vendors and contractors preferred
- A valid driver’s license at the time of hire required
