Description
Pain Specialists of America (“PSA”) is a Texas-based, multisite comprehensive pain management company that includes over 11+ locations, two ASCs, and a CLIA-certified laboratory. We are seeking talented professionals who can support the business objectives as we continue to grow.
PSA is looking for a Licensed Practitioner or Physician Assistant who will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care.
Essential Functions
- Perform physical exams and patient observations.
- Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
- Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
- Detect changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary.
- Administer medicines and treatments.
- Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
- Consult with healthcare professionals.
- Train patients and families on managing pain.

Requirements
Requirements
Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program. Must have RN licensure in Texas and be board certified by either ANCC or AANP. Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but is not required.
