ServiceNow is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Network Architect, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions to support our global operations.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Network Design and Architecture:  Develop and maintain network architecture, standards, and guidelines to support current and future business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions.
  • Network Security:  Implement and manage network security protocols, policies, and best practices to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure.
  • Routing and Switching:  Design, and optimize network routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless data flow and minimal downtime.
  • Private Cloud Expertise:  Demonstrate a strong background in private cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and ADC (Application Delivery Controllers).Design and integrate private cloud networks to support scalable and reliable application delivery.
  • Network Performance Optimization:  Monitor and analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks and come up with strategies to optimize network efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting:  Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams. 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 10+ years of proven experience as a Network Architect or a similar role in designing and managing complex networks.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and DDoS mitigation techniques.
  • Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
  • Hands-on experience with private cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as ADC technologies.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., ThousandEyes, APG, SMARTS).
  • Solid understanding of network virtualization and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
