Sun Chemical is hiring! We are seeking Maintenance Mechanics to join our team at the Cincinnati and Amelia locations. Come out for our open interview date on July 9th, 2025, from 9:00am-2:00pm.

Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Amelia, OH

Shift: 6pm-630am, 4/4 schedule

Overview: Safely and efficiently maintain, repair and service all site equipment, buildings, furnishings as needed to insure efficient operation of the plant. Troubleshoot and repair of equipment breakdowns as requested.

Duties:

· Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

· Work under minimal supervision with a sense of urgency and ownership.

· Daily checks, check critical equipment: Walking through the plant to be aware of anything out of order or any safety items.

· Routine maintenance (for example, meter readings

· Preventive Maintenance: Inspection, lubrication, filter replacement, cleaning, etc.

· Communicates issues with Maintenance team verbally and through email.

Requirements:

· High School diploma/GED

· Must have demonstrated working/repair ability/troubleshooting with electrical/mechanical equipment, chillers, boiler, air compressor.

Preferred experience:

· 3 years experience in industrial electrical power and controls and mechanical maintenance experience in plumbing/pipe fitting, rotating equipment, valves and pumps.

· Welding, utilities and instrumentation experience, desired.

 

Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift-training on days

Monday-Friday

2pm-10:30 pm or 10pm to 6:30am

Overview: Performs routine, emergency and preventive maintenance work on office and plant equipment, machines, and building facilities.

Duties:

· Repair and service all site equipment, buildings, and furnishings.

· Communicate issues with the Maintenance team verbally and through email.

· Check and repair critical equipment. Check cooling towers, mills, chillers, air compressors, boiler, etc.

· Preventative Maintenance through inspection, lubrication, filter replacement, cleaning etc.

Requirements:

· High School diploma/GED

· Knowledge of pipe fitting, electrical wiring, and general mechanics<
