This team consists of two sub- teams, one is responsible for the development and production of tumor cell banks and the other one is responsible for the production of proteins through our transient cell line systems. You will be responsible for creating master and working cell banks for tumor cell lines with your team. </p><p> </p><p>Responsibilities </p><ul><li><p>With your up-to-date knowledge of and experience in different cell culture techniques you will culture small scale to large scale tumor cell banks for research groups within Genmab. </p></li><li><p>Establish good laboratory practices and maintain the high-quality cell banking procedure </p></li><li><p>With your excellent documentation skills, you will document your work and continuously asses good documentation processes </p></li><li><p>Continuously assess and proactively look for ways to improve our current work flows and optimize our processes. </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Requirements </p><p>This established position can fit you, if you have the knowledge and experience to fill the role of Research Associate. You have relevant experience and are highly motivated to perform tumor cell banking activities. You are not hesitant to take initiative, enjoy working in a team and inspire others with your enthusiasm. Off course, you are interested in the latest developments in cell banking and protein production. More specifically, we ask for the following qualifications: </p><ul><li><p>A completed MLO or HLO education in Biotechnology or Applied Sciences or related fields. </p></li><li><p>At least 1-2 years of work experience in a GLP/GMP environment with various cell culture techniques in either biotech, pharma companies or academic environments. </p></li><li><p>Have hands on mentality as this role requires actively working in the lab. </p></li><li><p>Capable of working and maintaining a GLP laboratory. </p></li><li><p>Capable of organizing and prioritizing work. </p></li><li><p>Recognizing the importance of working according to the agreed research-based Quality System, which includes adhering to procedures and detailed documentation of your work. </p></li><li><p>Experience with electronic lab documentation systems. </p></li><li><p>As our new (Senior) Research Associate you are detail oriented, flexible to change focus. </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Genmab will offer the successful application a challenging position, where the right candidate will have the opportunity to work with highly specialized people across functions in an informal, multicultural environment, with an aim to make a difference in the lives of people with cancer. </p><p></p><p>About You</p><ul><li>You are passionate about our purpose and genuinely care about our mission to transform the lives of patients through innovative cancer treatment</li><li>You bring rigor and excellence to all that you do.
