Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is hiring an RN (Registered Nurse) to join our Intermediate Care Team (IMCU).

Position Overview

• Full Time 36 hours per week
• Day Shift 7am - 7pm
• 1:4- 5 patient ratio

Our patient population in our 24-bed unit are patients needing intermediate level of care.  Our primary population requires BiPAP.  We have four (4) designated ventilator beds, and Phillips wall mounted monitors in all rooms to monitor our telemetry patients. We can assist you with earning your PCCN Certification and/ or MedSurg Certification.  ICU is our “sister” unit, and we share the same education team. 

Education

• RN-Associate’s Degree, or
• RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or
• RN-Diploma, or
• RN-Master’s Degree

Certification / License

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience

• New Grads Welcome to apply who have previous experience in a direct patient care role. Example:  Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, etc. We set you up for success by offering a Transition to Practice Program that supports new RN Graduates. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$28.16 - $46.94. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
