Job Overview

Manager of Nutrition Services is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and directing the operation of Shriners Hospitals for Children- Philadelphia food service in compliance with Hospital rules, Local, State and Federal laws and accrediting agency regulations with assistance of the Director.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a consistent par level of supplies while staying within budget.
• Maintains sanitation in compliance with state, federal and local laws.
• Prepares and evaluates café and patient menus.
• Directly manages the cooks and all areas of the food preparation.
• Maintains schedules for all back of the house staff and insures time management for payroll purposes.

Qualifications

Preferred:

Associate Degree in Dietitics or Food and Nutrition Science

3+ years of Food Service Experience

ServSafe Food Safety Certificate

Food Service leadership experience
