Retail Operations and Expansion Manager

We seek a hands-on Manager of Retail Operations and Expansion to oversee the development and operation of VRAI’s retail showrooms across North America and Europe. This role involves managing every aspect of showroom operations, from the construction of new showrooms to daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, supplies, press pulls, and compliance with internal controls, ensuring all activities support sales objectives and operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage showroom budgets, analyzing financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure profitability.
• Ensure all showrooms adhere to VRAI’s visual standards, coordinating the setup of in-store displays, product launches, and maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
• Lead the construction of new showrooms across North America, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and on-budget completion.
• Mentor and manage showroom teams, providing guidance on operational processes, and ensure high standards of service and efficiency.

Requirements

• +6 years experience in retail expansion and operations from a winning DtC brand.
• Proven experience managing retail roll-outs across North America.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple showroom projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
