VP, Artificial Intelligence

Job Summary: The VP of Artificial Intelligence will lead and oversee all AI and machine learning initiatives at Masimo Corporation. This strategic leader will be responsible for the development and implementation of advanced AI and ML models that enhance our product offerings, improve patient outcomes, and drive operational efficiencies. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive AI/ML strategy aligned with Masimo’s business goals.
• Identify and prioritize AI/ML opportunities that can drive innovation and improve patient care.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate AI/ML into the company’s strategic vision and planning.
• Lead the AI/ML team in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge algorithms and models.
• Ensure successful integration of AI/ML technologies into existing and new products.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI/ML projects from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing AI/ML team, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, and researchers.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, clinical affairs, and marketing, to ensure successful AI/ML implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation through research, experimentation, and adoption of new AI/ML techniques and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in AI/ML, in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of regulations and standards related to AI/ML.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive large-scale AI/ML initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $194,000 - $242,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
