Headquartered in the Netherlands, with world-class R&amp;D hubs in Lisbon, Berlin, and São Paulo, 1GLOBAL employs over 400 experts across 13 countries.<br/><u><strong><br/>Position Overview</strong></u></p><p>We are looking for a commercially focused and experienced <strong>qualified lawyer</strong> to join our expanding legal team in a fast-paced and innovative <strong>technology and telecommunications business</strong>.</p><p>This position can be based in <strong>Amsterdam, Berlin, Warsaw, or São Paulo </strong>and is suited to candidates qualified in the <strong>US, UK, Brazil, the Netherlands, or Germany</strong>, with fluency in <strong>Dutch, German, or</strong> <strong>Portuguese, </strong>as well as <strong>English</strong>.</p><p>You will play a critical role in structuring and negotiating complex commercial transactions, managing regulatory risk, and advising on legal strategy across multiple jurisdictions.</p><p><u><strong><br/>Key Responsibilities</strong></u></p><ul><li>Draft and negotiate agreements supporting the needs of a rapidly growing tech and telecom business, including:</li></ul><ol> <li>Major <strong>B2B commercial contracts</strong> </li> <li><strong>Technical supplier and support contracts</strong></li> <li> <strong>MVNO</strong> and <strong>international roaming agreements</strong> </li> </ol><ul><li>Draft and manage a wide variety of <strong>commercial agreements</strong>, including:</li></ul><ol> <li> <strong>SaaS, cloud, and telecom infrastructure</strong> contracts</li> <li> <strong>Licensing</strong>, <strong>vendor</strong>, and <strong>strategic partnership</strong> agreements</li> </ol><ul> <li>Work cross-functionally with <strong>sales, procurement, finance, and operations</strong> to support commercial initiatives</li> <li>Contribute to the development of <strong>contract templates</strong> and scalable legal processes</li> <li>Liaise with and manage <strong>external counsel</strong> to support international legal matters efficiently and effectively</li> <li>Shape the company’s <strong>legal and commercial strategy</strong>, especially in relation to <strong>complex technology transactions</strong> </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Must Have</strong></p><ul> <li>Qualified to practice law in the <strong>US, UK, Brazil, the Netherlands, or Germany</strong> </li> <li><strong>4–10 years of post-qualification experience</strong></li> <li>Trained at a <strong>top-tier US, UK, or Brazilian law firm</strong>; in-house experience in <strong>tech, telecom, or digital infrastructure</strong> is an advantage</li> <li>Strong expertise in:</li> </ul><ol> <li><strong>Commercial contracts</strong></li> <li><strong>Telecom and technology law</strong></li> <li> <strong>US, UK,</strong> or <strong>EU</strong> <strong>regulatory frameworks</strong> </li> </ol><ul> <li>Fluency in <strong>Portuguese</strong>, <strong>Dutch, or German</strong>, and <strong>English</strong> (both written and spoken)</li> <li>Excellent <strong>negotiation, drafting, and communication skills</strong> </li> <li>Able to manage complex legal issues independently while working collaboratively in an <strong>international environment</strong> </li> <li>Detail orientated, organised, and able to <strong>prioritise competing demands</strong> effectively to deliver outstanding client outcomes </li> </ul><p><strong><br/>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul> <li>Experience with <strong>Brazilian, Dutch, or German</strong> corporate law</li> <li>Prior in-house legal experience with a focus on <strong>contract negotiation </strong> </
