Ambulatory Oncology Lead Coordinator

Regions Cancer Center is seeking a Lead Coordinator with knowledge of medical terminology, EPIC scheduling and strong customer service skills to join our team. The purpose of this position is: perform appointment scheduling for all oncology ambulatory clinic patients; medical transcription and clerical/receptionist functions in the Cancer Center; to facilitate communication to staff and support communication between staff disciplines in and outside the cancer center; to organize and maintain unit supplies necessary for daily activities, prepares and maintains patient records, performs data entry into the computerized patient information system; to serve as a resource person to medical and clerical staff regarding hospital protocols; assists with overseeing day-to-day operations of front desk; to manage simultaneously many activities impacting patient care; and to perform related duties as assigned.

Monday - Friday Clinic Hours
Required Qualifications:
3 years Ambulatory Clinic scheduling
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years Ambulatory Clinic Scheduling
