<p>Alice&amp;Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems. The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!</p><p>We are at the forefront of the quantum race, competing with tech giants such as Google or IBM. If you are an explorer, craving to challenge yourself and make quantum computing come true, come and join us!</p><p><strong>Role</strong> <br/>As an Office Manager Intern, you will report to the Head of People and play a crucial role in creating a positive and productive work environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our workspaces.</p><p>Your key responsibilities will be to:<br/><strong>General Services</strong> </p><p>Office administration: includes managing contracts, service providers, and insurance.</p><p>Management of premises: involves maintenance and ensuring a quality working environment for teams</p><p>Monitoring, managing and optimizing the office management budget (audit current service providers in terms of both budget and performance, benchmark and negotiate with partners.)</p><p>Receipt of deliveries and management of external visitor access<br/><strong>Accounting / Procurement</strong> </p><ul> <li>Handle invoice entry and payment follow-up, in contact with our chartered accountant</li> <li>Contribute to the deployment of our cost accounting system</li> <li>Support the Purchasing department in its projects development</li> </ul><p><strong>Team Life</strong></p><ul> <li>Coordination &amp; organisation of internal life (events, rituals)</li> <li>Guarantor of good collective practices (slack, office, meetings...)</li> <li>Proactively and creatively implement tools</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will ideally have:</p><ul> <li>Highly creative (original ideas for new projects, discovering new places, etc.).</li> <li>A cool head for dealing with imponderables and tight deadlines.</li> <li>Ability to adapt to all kinds of situations, in a changing, international environment.</li> <li>Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>Unflagging optimism and a willingness to make day-to-day life easier for teams</li> <li>Fluent English, both written and spoken.</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information</li> <li>Knowledge of basic accounting principles.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Joining Alice &amp; Bob as an Intern, you can expect the following:</p><ul> <li>1 day vacation for every Month worked</li> <li>Half of transportation cost coverage (as per French law), or yearly allowance for the die-hard bicycle users</li> <li>Meal vouchers with Swile, as well as access to a fully equipped kitchen</li> <li>Contribution to sports, artistic &amp; cultural activities</li> <li>Flexible remote policy, up to 25 % a month.</li> </ul><p>You will join of one of the most innovative startups in France at an early stage, to be part of a passionate and friendly team on its mission to build the first universal quantum computer!</p><p>We love to share and learn from one another, so you will be certain to innovate, develop new ideas, and have the space to grow. </p>
