ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- MUST be currently Enrolled in bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or similar from an accredited college or university or technical institution. Open to Junior, Senior and Masters Students.
- Work Schedule: During School need to be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (can work a max of 28 hours a week if able to do so) during business hours (7:30am to 5:30pm) and During Breaks can be up to 40 hours a week as needed. (We will work around your school schedule).
- Length of Internship: 6 Months Minimum and could extend longer OR turn into a full-time position with approved headcount.
- Target start date is January 5, 2026.
SUMMARY
This role will provide exposure to Outage Technologies and Process operational conduct. It will include specific participation to design and develop essential digital tools within the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate) for the Service Execution department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Mitsubishi Power personnel and affiliated business units to design and develop innovative digital products and services.
- Design and develop applications within Microsoft PowerApps
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards.
- Develop efficient technical solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
- Understanding of good UI design concepts.
- Contribute to interface design mock-ups.
- Ability to estimate work for defined features and user stories.
- Meet project deadlines as indicated in a project plan and assigned tasks.
- Implement new features on existing products, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- Perform other such duties as may be required.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and overall computer navigational skills.
