LEAD FIREFIGHTER (BLS/HAZMAT OPS)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Driving and operating firefighting vehicles and associated equipment of significant complexity; 2) Maintaining knowledge of emergency first aid techniques; 3) applying knowledge of facility layouts and the location and operation of alarm/suppression control panels, hydrants, utility shutoffs, and suppression systems. NOTE: This experience must be supported by your resume. This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications for this position: Firefighter II, Fire Officer I, Fire Inspector I, Fire Instructor I, Driver-Operator Pumper, Hazmat Technician Level, National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certification. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement.
