The Boeing Company’s Product Sales & Marketing (S&M) Information Technology Application Development team is currently seeking a Senior UX Design Specialist to join the team in Renton, WA. 

The selected candidate will be working at the very front of Boeing’s business in the domain of S&M. Our responsibility is to provide innovative solutions that equip and enable our sales campaigns across Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) with evidence of the value and performance of our products. Our division spans every point on the spectrum from marketing to capturing new business, to sales operations, and customer engagement. We are seeking people who have a passion to innovate and be impactful to the success of selling Boeing’s products.

Position Responsibilities:

• Implements strategies across the BCA Commercial Sales & Marketing domain

• Develops and leads strategies to ensure effective, usable and satisfying user experiences with information technology

• Researches and develops usability standards, processes, methodologies and user experience design directions

• Defines strategies for and oversees user-centered design (user research, definition of requirements and usability goals, development of interaction design alternatives and prototypes, usability evaluations) for projects with highly complex requirements or at the enterprise level

• Diagnoses and analyzes highly complex usability issues and refines designs or recommends changes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years in leading or facilitating continuous improvement/lean principles workshops

• 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing

• 5+ years of experience working in an agile development team

• 5+ years of experience designing web applications and/or mobile solutions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher

• Experience with collecting and synthesizing various forms of user research

• Experience in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe, etc.)

• Experience leading or facilitating continuous improvement/lean principles workshops

• Experience coaching and mentoring designers and non-designers

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $150,450 – $203,550
