PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst Journeyman to support our government customer, the NAWCAD Comptroller, in Patuxent River, MD.
Duties & Responsibilities: Specific tasks include the following support for the NAWCAD Funds Management Division:- Process incoming funding documents for NAWCAD direct program funding to include receipt and tracking of funding documents in support of the NAWCAD Funds Management Division.
- Provide business/financial/resource planning and management support to various program management offices and competencies in the coordination and administration of all business and financial services for NWCF and direct program funding to include tracking of commitments, obligations and expenditures.
- Prepare Outgoing Funding Documents (OFD) and Procurement Requests (PR).
- Intake funding documents and create/update sales orders in Navy ERP.
- Provide business analysis and data collection support and coordination of all business and financial data calls.
- Perform administrative functions in support of NAWCAD organizational elements to include preparing correspondence, key control, permit parking, supplies orders, calendar and conference room scheduling, Video Teleconferencing (VTC) scheduling, processing telephone and AirCard statements, process and distribute competency mail, personnel security management, and visitor request processing.
- Non-NISP or Secret clearance required
- Must have three (3) to ten (10) years of experience with Navy ERP and Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF)
- Experience with DoD funding requirements, policies, and regulations that govern appropriations law
- Ability to apply knowledge of financial systems, document as-is client business practices, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to document, propose, and implement business process improvements
- Ability to manage teams and mentor individuals to support client initiatives
- Ability to work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive-level positions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of the required work experience
- OR an Associate's with at least seven (7) years of the required experience
- OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least nine (9) years of the required experience
