Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Receive all raw materials and supplies.
• Produce Batch and Shipping tickets.
• Process purchase orders.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and examine upon arrival.
• Maintain record keeping systems and mark material with part numbers, date and lot codes, revisions, etc.
• Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all ingredients and chemicals received and/or purchased for use within facility.
• Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between departments, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
• Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
• Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and investigate with vendors.
• Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired.
• Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights.
• Adhere to Production and Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs.)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and production areas.
• Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.
• Support, and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenance programs.
• Support and comply with GMP’s.
• Participate in TPM initiatives.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to read, speak, and write English so as to assimilate, retain, and apply training in job functions and recognize and communicate problems and recommend solutions.
• 1- 3 years of inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, OneLX, Nutech).
• Personal computer skills to include spreadsheet software and word processing software (MS Word & Excel).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to resolve problems.
• Strong customer service and phone skills.
• Superior communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
