This onsite role is based in Lenexa, KS and may be eligible for relocation support.

What You Will Do:

  • Leads multiple projects to support the development of program plans, schedules, and budgets for production under their responsibility

  • Establishes key performance indicators and directs work to achieve these targets

  • Analyzes data and monitors production to ensure adherence to cost, schedule and technical specifications

  • Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to sustaining production to Senior Leadership and Customers

  • Implements continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality, specifically utilizing CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), lean, or six sigma methodology

  • Identifies and addresses production problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful performance of programs in production including field service safety issues, customer satisfaction issues, obsolescence, work transfers, improvements for capacity, and supplier requests

  • Leads project work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the customer program objectives supporting development phase and then owning the production phase

  • Directs program phases from start of production through completion (sunsetting) of program

  • Interfaces with customers for program requirements to ensure successful completion

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience

  • Project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain or related discipline

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Engineering degree or analytical type degree

  • Experience with manufacturing (operations) and supply chain

  • PMP Preferred
