About the role
Marigold Health is looking for an Associate Product Manager to manage and coordinate across the product offerings, teams, and services that create our platform. Marigold provides a combination of 1-1 coaching and 24/7 anonymous chat support groups accessed over phone, SMS, and app/web. We are looking for someone to ensure cohesion and quality, and that we are meeting the needs of our end users, both internal and external. This role is perfect for someone early in their product career, looking for a growth path towards product ownership or senior product management. We’re ideally looking for someone who is familiar with working in a mid-stage company environment and has had some exposure to the product development life-cycle, even if indirect. There is opportunity in this role for mentorship, and expansive hands-on learning; you’ll be working directly with the executive team on a daily basis. Product Process & Documentation
- Participate in the development of new products and enhancement of existing products
- Contribute to the end-to-end product spec process, including writing user stories and scoping feature requirements to support the design and engineering teams
- Maintain accurate and complete product related documentation for processes, feature releases, and bug reports
- Contribute to administrative and operational tasks for the Product org as needed
Customer Success &Internal Support
- Help manage internal service desk: collect, write, and triage support tickets from internal and external users to prioritize and resolve bugs as efficiently as possible
- Collect and triage requests from stakeholders, including clinical support peers, into the product backlog
- Analyze key metrics to evaluate product success and user satisfaction
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Collaborate directly with developers across multiple time zones to test product iterations for quality and compliance specifications
- Monitor and report on user feedback after launches; perform quality assurance controls on products
Communication & Release Planning
- Draft and communicate updates to internal stakeholders and end users to ensure smooth releases and understanding of all product offerings
- Support the rollout of new features to make sure peers and non-technical stakeholders are comfortable working with the new changes
Market Research
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to help inform product decisions
Reporting, Schedule and Location
- This is a U.S. based, fully remote, full-time role reporting to our Chief of Staff, Product. Most team members work virtually from home and are located on the east coast and internationally. You can work remotely anywhere in the US. If you prefer in-person work for any portion of the week, we currently have offices in Delaware and Massachusetts. You should expect to be available during east coast hours. Travel to peer support sites may be a part of this role; all travel costs will be covered by the company.
Your Skills
- 1-3 years of product experience, either in a product support or product management capacity
- Ability to quickly grasp novel technology systems
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to self-direct to areas of high impact
- Experience gathering and organizing feedback from customers to inform product roadmap prioritization
- Strong familiarity with tools like Jira/Confluence, Asana, and Figma
- Experience with the product development lifecycle and common product processes and methods such as sprints, human-centered design, backlog management, roadmap prioritization, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintainaccurate and comprehensive documentation in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and track record as an effective collaborator
- Metrics-driven and structured work processes; fluency with data
