Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2980 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. • 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Experience with Cerner is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. • Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted. • Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted. • Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted. • Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted. Additional Details: In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license. Ascension Health does not accept TDAP, Varicella, or MMR declinations. Required Credentials: Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; passing score of at least 80%, with only two attempts permitted, and must be updated every 3 years. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only two attempts allowed. Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. Unit Details: Telemetry unit. Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.
