You will be part of a dedicated, experienced, and high-performing team at the Medtronic Energy and Component Center (MECC) in Brooklyn Center, MN. At this facility, we design, develop, and manufacture components used in medical devices such as pacemakers, neurostimulators, implantable cardio-defibrillators and insulin pumps. The assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production of components used in our various medical devices. You will be a key member of a manufacturing team that is dedicated to safety, quality, continuous improvement and achieving production goals. Preferred Qualifications
Ability to Cross Train across Cruiser Area / cells and willingness to be deployed where business needs.
Can load and Unload Assembly Equipment
Material Handler (pacing)
Able to meet the acceptable time standards for operations
Actively involved in problem solving
Verify settings at startup
Perform finer assembly skills including microscopes.
Perform final inspections/testing.
Experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment.
Hands on, self-reliant, and strong attention to detail
Team player with high personal motivation.
Work with minimal direction
High awareness of the importance of quality and safety.
Excellent communication skills and a team focused work ethic.
Experience was fast production ramp-ups.
Basic-to-advanced computer literacy skills
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience. May require vocational training and/or certification.
