At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. <h2><b>Job Overview</b></h2> <p>TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.</p> <p>In order to drive efficient back-office operations, TE Connectivity wants to establish insourced regional shared service centers (*) to support centralized processing of selected procurement functions such as PR/PO processing, but also Category Execution and Sourcing.</p> <p>The Indirect Procurement CE will play a key role in the insourcing process by collecting and organizing all information’s gathered through the knowledge transfer received from the supplier currently used to perform those activities. </p> <p>(*) PSC: Procurement Shared Center</p> <p>Position Overview:   </p> <p>This position will report to the PSC CE Team Leader and be a member of the PSC teams focusing on all the aspects of tactical and strategic procurement for his/her assigned commodities. </p> <h2><b>Responsibilities:</b></h2> <p>Key attributes of this role include:<br/> •    Experience in indirect commodity support and strategic sourcing<br/> •    Experience in at least one of the commodity category: CAPEX, MRO, Facilities, HR, Corporate Services or IT<br/> •    Good understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and associated technology platforms <br/> •    Excellent organizational and analytical skills, solid problem solving and detail oriented<br/> •    Strong communication skills<br/> •    Ability to work with deadlines<br/> •    Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel.<br/> •    Experience in a shared service center if possible</p> <p><br/> Key Responsibilities:<br/> •    Support migration of Indirect Procurement processes from EMEA countries to Krakow and prepare Indirect Procurement related process documentation (process maps and work instructions)<br/> •    Become a Subject Matter Expert for assigned commodities<br/> •    Data or requirement gathering, market desk research, TCO calculation, benchmarking<br/> •    Organizing weekly regional commodity calls with Commodity Management and buyers<br/> •    Go-To person in case buyers have commodity specific questions<br/> •    Support and partner with Commodity Management towards strategic projects and business planning and forecasting (prioritization of opportunities based on Saving Potential v/s Effort Required)<br/> •    CE’s are expected to help identify projects through spend analytics and opportunity identification<br/> •    CE‘s manage strategic and sourcing projects as assigned by Commodity Management and upon approval of project charter detailing scope, milestones, objectives, timeline<br/> •    Manage end-to-end own sourcing project from ideation to contract execution and ordering<br/> •    Sourcing activities to be based on the guidelines in the commodity playbook and other relevant documentation (Standard Operating Procedures)<br/> •    Set selection criteria for the suppliers to be invited in RFX’s<br/> •    Understand suppliers and their capabilities<br/> •    Enforce use and acceptance of TE contract templates with all suppliers <br/> •    Collecting supplier quotations<br/> •    Comparing supplier offered prices and proposals<br/> •    Calculate savings as per the quotations<br/> •    Agree on which supplier to select with Commodity Management and/or Stakeholders<br/> •    Report productivity in relevant system <br/> •    Manage own contracts (redlining, alignment with stakeholders, negotiation with suppliers, interaction with Legal dept.) up to final execution<br/> •    Ensure executed contracts are properly uploaded in the contract repository<br/> •    Support implementing new contracts, and uploading metadata to contract database<br/> •    Participate in Global/Regional Commodity supplier review and internal meetings with TE Stakeholders as required<br/> •    Provide commodity specific training to new joiners (buyers)<br/> •    Ensure compliance with applicable TE policies <br/> •    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the function, ensuring that im
